There are quite a few differences between the Lambo Huracan LP 580-2 and the 911 Turbo S, but also a couple of important similarities, starting with a 580 PS produced by their engines. They also both feature 7-speed dual clutch gearboxes, that’s pretty much it in terms of what makes them similar. And whereas the LP 580-2 is the rear-wheel driven supercar, the 911 Turbo S sends its power to all four wheels. On paper, the Lamborghini Huracan needs 3.4 seconds to hit 100 km/h from a standstill, while the Porsche 911 Turbo S needs just 2.9 seconds. So yes, a German supercar does have torque and traction on its side, but this drag race features the rolling start, which levels out the playing field a bit.
